Bonenkai（忘年会）, literally means “forget-year-gathering”, is a popular Japanese end-of-year gathering. At TCP, all students, friends and families are invited to this gathering and enjoy our class performances, potluck, silent auctions and gift exchange.
2019 Bonenkai was a BLAST! Taiko Tots performed “Wasshoi! Wasshoi!,” and all the youth and adult classes did a great job performing in an informal, family atmosphere! The FOOD was INCREDIBLE! Thank you to all who brought their special dishes and to the YG Families for coordinating.
The YG Bake Sale offered scrumptious delights with special treats made by national food syndicate “Kids Baking Championship” finalist TAYLOR INOUYE! Thank you to all who donated!
The Taiko Arts Center annual Silent Auction also featured great items donated by generous businesses and individuals in the community. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
BEST WISHES to ALL for a HAPPY, HEALTHY, and PROSPEROUS 2020! Hope you will join us playing taiko in 2020!
