In the middle of winter, 18 female taiko drummers from Japan and North America gather for a 2-week residency to present HERbeat, a sold out concert at the Ordway Theatre, Minneapolis on Leap Day, February 29, 2020, JUST before the country shut down due to the covid pandemic. Finding Her Beat, a documentary about the road leading to this herstorical event.
