Taiko Arts Center Fundraisers: Give Aloha & Habilitat Christmas Trees!
Habilitat’s Christmas Tree Fundraiser 2017
TAC will once again be teaming up with Habilitat, for our annual Christmas tree fundraiser. We will be selling Christmas trees, from September to October, to raise money for educational & cultural programs. We need your help to make this fundraiser a success! Please share this wonderful opportunity with your family, friends and co-workers to ensure your family has a fresh Christmas tree or decoration for this coming holiday season!

An Evening of Edo Sato Kagura – Shrine Music & Dance of Old Tokyo
Visiting artist Kyosuke Suzuki is from the Wakayama Shachu of Tokyo, a group 
recognized as an intangible cultural property by the Japan Ministry of Culture. He is acknowledged by many around the world as the top lion dancer of the Edo tradition.
He will be performing his art for one night only at Izumo Taishakyo Mission in downtown Honolulu on Saturday, September 2 at 6pm.

Taiko Center of the Pacific presents “Island Breeze,” a trio of world class musicians – each a master of his own instrument featuring Grammy award winning Jeff Peterson (Hawaiian slack key guitar), shakuhachi master Riley Lee, and taiko artist Kenny Endo. This group was nominated for the Na Hoku Hanohano awards for Album of the Year and for Instrumental Song of the Year (“Na Pali “) in 2015.
