Its been 10 years since the devastating earthquake and tsunami hit the Tohoku district of Japan in 2011. It was the most powerful earthquake ever in Japan and the 4th most powerful in the world since recorded history. Nearly 16,000 deaths, 6000 injured, and still over 2500 missing. We GATHERED!!! We played Taiko TOGETHER!!!! We LEARNED TOGETHER!!! We were SILLY TOGETHER!!! We RE-SKINNED DRUMS TOGETHER!!!
We WORKSHOPPED TOGETHER!!! We did TAIKO MARATHONS TOGETHER!!! We PARADED TOGETHER!! We PLAYED A LOT OF TAIKO TOGETHER!!!
We GREETED the MORNING SUN TOGETHER!!! We ATE TOGETHER!!! We TRAVELED TOGETHER!!! We HUNG OUT TOGETHER!!! We PLAYED A LOT OF TAIKO TOGETHER!!!
We CLIMBED MOUNTAINS TOGETHER!!! and played A LOT OF TAIKO TOGETHER!!!
Here’s hoping we can do all those things TOGETHER again soon! TAKE CARE! BE STRONG! STAY SAFE!
