This year, we are offering 6 different and exciting courses to choose from, featuring special guest instructors Kyosuke Suzuki from the Wakayama Shachu of Tokyo and Halla Huhm Foundation’s Mary-Jo Freshly (Korean changgo, hour-glass shaped drum), as well as TCP’s own Sean Shibata (Fukuoka) and Kenny Endo!

-Kagura Mai (shrine dance movement)
-Shimedaiko (Edobayashi Techniques for small rope-lashed drum)
-Yokobue (Japanese transverse bamboo flute)
Kenny Endo
-Beta Chuudaiko (upright taiko)
Mary Jo Freshley
-Korean Changgo (predecessor to “katsugi” sling drum)
Sean Shibata
-Japanese Festival Music
